Edward John Jackett (4 July 1878 - 11 November 1935)[1] was an English rugby union player, who represented the England national rugby union team and the British Isles and competed in the 1908 Summer Olympics. He played as a full back.
Jackett was selected for the 1908 British Lions tour to New Zealand and Australia and faced South Africa on their 1906 tour of Great Britain.
He also played for Falmouth RFC and Leicester Tigers and 52 times for Cornwall.
Jackett was a member of the British rugby union team, which on 26 October 1908 won the Olympic silver medal for Great Britain.
He was the brother of Richard Jackett.[2]
